Integrated Team

Most productions
are built in
separate layers.
We build them
as one.

Lighting, video, lasers, special effects, staging, and interactive systems are usually handled by different vendors with no unified vision. The result is a show stitched together from parts that were never designed to work as one.

Cultivate brings those layers together into a single connected show system, where every cue, fixture, screen, effect, and stage element is designed to work in sync from the first concept.

One brief. One team. One system. Every moment landing exactly when it should.

Production,
built into
the venue.

Cultivate Collective is Demo Room's in-house production arm, built by the same founders and operated as one unified team. Production is integrated into the venue from the start.

Inside Demo Room, Cultivate supports in-house production design, lighting programming, stage and truss systems, custom DJ booths, scenic builds, LED structures, projection-mapped installations, special effects, pre-visualized event builds, and onsite technical execution.

The result is a production-ready venue where creative and technical execution are built into the experience.

What does Cultivate Collective do?
Cultivate Collective is a Toronto technical production studio that designs, builds, programs, and operates synchronized production systems for live shows, venues, brand activations, and immersive experiences. One integrated team handles lighting, video, lasers, special effects, staging, fabrication, and show control as a single connected system, from 3D pre-visualization through show-day execution.
Where is Cultivate Collective based?
Cultivate Collective is based in Toronto, Canada, and operates as the in-house production arm of Demo Room. The team works on projects across Toronto, Ontario, and beyond, for touring artists, venues, and brands.
Does Cultivate Collective rent production equipment?
Yes. We rent production-grade lighting fixtures, LED and video, trussing and rigging, control and consoles, special effects, and custom-built elements, from the same inventory we use on our own shows. Gear can be supplied dry or fully crewed with programming and operation.
Can Cultivate Collective handle an entire production end to end?
Yes. A full production package brings lighting, video, lasers, effects, staging, fabrication, sensors, real-time visuals, show control, programming, and live operation under one team, so you work with a single point of contact instead of coordinating disconnected vendors.
What is 3D pre-visualization and why does it matter?
3D pre-visualization builds the show virtually before load-in. Clients review stage design, lighting looks, fixture placement, scenic elements, and timecoded cues in a 3D model, so decisions happen early, surprises are reduced, and onsite execution is faster.
What kinds of events does Cultivate Collective work on?
Concerts and touring productions, permanent and temporary venue installations, nightlife and club systems, brand activations, product launches, galleries, and immersive or interactive installations using TouchDesigner, LiDAR, and projection mapping.
